This edition's key updates include:

  • A look at our 2024/25 financial results (page 1), which has provided strong value for growers and seen us exceed our longstanding goal of reaching $4.5 billion in sales by 2025
  • An update on the LaS and Das initiatives, including a reminder that the opt-in period closes on 6 June (pages 1 and 3), as well as an update on the June Loyalty payment (page 2).   • An invitation to growers to join us at this year’s Mystery Creek Fieldays from 11-14 June and give feedback on some of the key issues we’re considering (page 1).
  • Jason’s CEO column which highlights continued progress in delivering the season, as well as an article where he shares the work we are doing on developing our 2035 strategy focused on ensuring we are future-fit and able to create long-term growth for growers via brand-led demand, supply chain excellence and continued innovation (page 2). He notes share alignment as a key strategic priority.
  • A wrap-up of our 2025 licence allocation auction results (page 3) which saw 157.44 hectares of Restricted SunGold Kiwifruit licence allocated with a final closing price of $454,000 per hectare, and 259.57 of Unrestricted SunGold Kiwifruit licence allocated with a final closing price of $561,000 per hectare (excluding GST).
  • An introduction to Red80, a red cultivar currently in pre-commercial trials, as we consider how we can continue strengthening our Zespri RubyRed™ Kiwifruit offering in partnership with our Red19 variety (page 4).
  • An update on sales for the season (page 5), with figures showing Sales are progressing well across our markets, contributing to a great start to the season and capitalising on early flow of good quality fruit.
