The Zespri Innovation Symposium is a bi-annual event that brings together people from across the kiwifruit industry to explore the latest from Zespri's innovation programme.
This year, the symposium will spotlight both current and future-focused innovations. You'll gain global insights from two keynote speakers and hear directly from Zespri's innovation team as they share recent highlights and forward-looking developments.
The symposium kicks off at 8:30am with doors opening and registrations, followed by a karakia and opening session. The morning features a keynote from futurist Ian Proudfoot of KPMG, and a session on applied satellite remote sensing in the Northern Hemisphere. You'll choose two of three breakout sessions - covering innovation across the supply chain, future orchard technologies, and improving grower returns - before enjoying lunch and interactive Show and Tell stations. The afternoon includes a keynote from Mark Kennedy of Kantar on growth in the era of acceleration, followed by sessions on health research and new cultivar demand spaces. The day wraps up with closing remarks and a mix-and-mingle session at 3:15pm.
