Applications are now open for the 2026 intake of the newly relaunched Zespri Governance Development Programme (ZGDP).
The programme has evolved for 2026, with the introduction of a dedicated Governance Development Group and Programme Manager, bringing well‑considered enhancements and additions to the curriculum. These updates will strengthen technical skillsets and leadership capability, supporting future leaders as they prepare to transition into industry governance roles.
This intensive, year‑long programme provides the frameworks, tools, and strategic support needed to progress your leadership journey. Zespri is focused on building a strong governance pipeline that reflects the diversity of our grower community.
Who should apply?
The programme is open to people across the kiwifruit industry, as well as those in kiwifruit‑adjacent roles, who have a genuine interest and commitment to stepping into an industry governance role within the next 3–5 years.
