Oriental fruit fly detection

Biosecurity New Zealand has initiated a response following the discovery of a single male Oriental fruit fly which was found in a surveillance trap in Papatoetoe, Auckland.

Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH) is working closely with Biosecurity New Zealand and other partners in the horticultural Government Industry Agreement (GIA) to minimise the risk to kiwifruit growers.
